HOUSE

We teach our pupils how we call the differents parts of the house. After that, They have to make groups of two people. They have to locate an image of a boy, "Jonhy", in a room and ask to the partnes "Where is Jonhy?" and "What is he doing?" and the other student has to answer "Jonhy is in the Kitchen and he is cooking" (for example).

Art Class- Piet Mondrian

Piet Mondrian (7 March 1872 – 1 February 1944) was a Dutch modern artist. His early paintings show abstractlandscapes in post-impressionist and cubist style.

He painted in an increasingly abstract style, until he finally achieved the style which made him famous. By 1920, he adopts a totally abstract motif, with an irregular checkerboard drawn with black lines, and with the spaces paints mostly white or sometimes in theprimary colors of blue, red and yellow. This style is geometric abstraction with primary color.

Mondrian painted about 250 of these geometric abstracts, from 1917 to 1944. Mondrian called his style “neoplasticism”.

Means of transport

We use vehicles to go from one place to another. We also use vehicles to move goods.

  • TRANSPORT BY LAND
Cars, buses, and trains travel by land. We build roads, railways and stations. Land transport is very widely used.

  • TRANSPORT BY AIR
Planes transport people. They also take goods which need to be sent quickly. Planes fly in and out of  airports.

  • TRANSPORT BY SEA
Ships transport people. They are also used for moving large quantities of goods. This means of transport is slower.Ships sail in and out of ports. There are special machines in ports for lifting containers.
